In this private tour to Llachon, will pick you up from your hotel to take you to the port of Puno, where we take our motor boat that will take us to the original natives Uros known as "Uros Titino" still living near the peninsula of Capachica.

On the way you will see the beautiful scenery from Lake Titicaca; after 2 hours of travel, we arrive at Uros Titino; our guide will make us know the life of these original inhabitants of the islands of the Uros, then, we depart to Llachon, where locals will receive us with their typical clothes, you will learn about the local plants, textiles ancient techniques, with residents who continue using these techniques to develop their dressing; you will have time for walking through the different beaches that are in Llachon, finally after a beautiful day, return to Puno.

1st. Day description

In this private tour to Llach贸n, will pick you up from your hotel to take you to the port of Puno, where we take our motor boat that will take us to the original Uros known as "Uros Titino"still living near the peninsula Capachica.

Typical lunch in the area, then the family will give a demonstration of their garments, fabric, yarn ancient techniques, with residents who continue to use these techniques to develop their garments; Free afternoon to enjoy the place or you can make optional activities: walk (kayak, sailing boats). 2nd. Day description

After breakfast, we will know some medicinal plants of the peninsula, later for we will walk to the lookout of the Peninsula to see the view of the lake from there. Then return to the family home for lunch, we finally go to port for boarding our boat for returning to Puno.

Day 1 "UROS AND LLACHÓN" (Description)

Pick up passengers from the 7:40 to 8:00 AM from your hotelin the center of Puno to the port, where we board our motor boat and head towards the Uros floating islands. 30 min trip to reach the famous floating islands where you can see more than 82 islands made from reeds. Then we go to the Peninsula of Llachon (2 hours travel time) to get to the port of the Peninsula, where families will welcome us, we will hike about 15 min. To reach family homes to accommodate and take our lunch hat is prepared with local products. You have the afternoon free to share their customs, traditions; activities with families, in coordination with us you can perform other optional activities (kayaking, sailing boats). In the evening dinner with family and rest.

Day 2 "AMANTANI ISLAND" (Description)

After breakfast we will walk to the viewpoint of the Peninsula and then head to the port again to continue our tour to Amantani (45 min boat trip) arriving at midday around.

Walk (30 min uphill) to local houses in Amantani and take our Andean lunch prepared by the islanders. After, rest and settle in rooms, walk to the top of the island and see the Inca ceremonial temples Pachamama and Pachatata, remain to see one of the best sunsets of the World.

Then, we return to the local houses for dinner, and at night if you desire (optional) you can join to the “special welcome party”community organize for you.
Day 3 "TAQUILE ISLAND" (Description)

After our breakfast, we descend to the port of Amantani (8 am) to take our boat towards the Taquile Island, the last island to visit, for walking 45 min to the main square, where we see a variety of crafts made by the islanders, a small museum, the local market and the best sights from this point.

After lunch, we will return to the Port of Taquile for taking the boat (1pm) for arriving to Puno at 4:00 pm approx.

IMPORTANT RECOMMENDATION for the trip UROS, LLACHÓN, AMANTANI AND TAQUILE.

• It is necessary to take bottled water (1 liter per person) with you, cause long walks (In Amantani 1 hour uphill and in Llachon optional walk). You can buy them before your tour in local markets or the same day in the port of Puno or the different islands (higher price).
• It is necessary to have flashlights, in Amantani/Llachón there are not streetlights.
• Families will give you 3 clean blankets for sleeping, however you can request more to the families if you feel cold at night

DESCRIPTION

FIRST DAY: PUNO / UROS

We’ll pick you up from your hotels in Puno (10:00 am) to go to the port of Uros where we take a small motor boat, which will take us to the famous Uros Floating Islands (Uros Island "Aruma Uru ") (around 30 min trip) and then proceed to settle in the comfortable rooms. Local families will give us an explanation of the construction, traditions, and way of life of Uros islanders.

After lunch, we’ll travel on a famous boat made ​​of reeds to put fishing nets (fishing),

Then see we’ll see how cut the reeds (for the construction of the same islands, handicrafts, etc.). Likewise, the islanders themselves will teach you to create your own crafts made ​​from reeds. At night we will have a dinner, and then ¡We’ll rest on the Uros floating island!

SECOND DAY: UROS / LLACHON

RECOMMENDATIONS

• Take Mineral Water with you, cause long walks (In Amantani/Llachon 1 hour uphill). You can buy it on the main dock; as well on the islands (but the price increase on the islands). After drink them, please keep the plastic bottles on the boat that will bring again to Puno, don’t leave them on the islands.

• Take flashlights, in Amantani and Llachon there are not streetlights.

• Families will give you 3 blankets for sleeping, however, you can request more to the families

• Toilets are basic

• There are shower service on Uros and Llachon,

• There’s no shower service in Amantani

• We recommend carry:

• A light 2days pack to carry your necessary things (cleaning supplies, camera, external batteries chargers, etc)

• Money for snacks and souvenirs in Soles. (preferable 20–soles bills, avoid to bring 100-soles bills)

• In general: trekking shoes, hat, sunscreen, trekking poles (optional), binoculars, pen/notebook, medical personal medicines, electronic entertaining devices (cellphone, kindle)

• Extra energy bars, because you will need extra calories for trekking parts

• Optional: if you desire, you can take some fruits to the families for sharing (you can buy them in the same port of Puno)
