DESCRIPTION
FIRST DAY: Going to the Uros Island
We’ll pick you up from your hotels in Puno (10:00 am) to go to the port of Uros where we take a small motor boat, which will take us to the famous Uros Floating Islands (Uros Island "Aruma Uru ") (around 30 min trip) and then proceed to settle in the comfortable rooms. Local families will give us an explanation of the construction, traditions, and way of life of Uros islanders.
After lunch, we’ll travel on a famous boat made of reeds to put fishing nets (fishing),
Then see we’ll see how cut the reeds (for the construction of the same islands, handicrafts, etc.). Likewise, the islanders themselves will teach you to create your own crafts made from reeds. At night we will have a dinner, and then ¡We’ll rest on the Uros floating island!
SECOND DAY: Going to the Amantani Island
Next day morning, we’ll proceed to pick up our fishing net and see the diversity of native fish of Lake Titicaca, then we have breakfast and finally by averaging 10am we will continue to Amantani Island arriving mid-day, where families of Amantani will wait for us.
Walk (30 min uphill) to local houses in Amantani Island, we’ll take our lunch based on Andean provided by the islanders, we’ll have time for resting and settle in the rooms; then we’ll walk to the top of the island and see the ceremonial Inca temples Pachamama and Pachatata, also we’ll see ¡one of the best sunsets in the world!, then return to the local houses for dinner, and at night we go to dance with the families (the party is optional).
THIRD DAY: Going to the island of Taquile
After our breakfast, we descend to the port of Amantani (8 am) to take our boat towards to Taquile island, have lunch in this island and then return to the Port of Amantani (01:00 pm.) to return to Puno averaging arrive at 04:00 pm.
