This is a full day private tour from La Paz to Tiahuanaco and to Puno, we pick passengers up from hotels, at around 08:30 (Bolivian Time) to start the trip by private transport across the immense High Plateau to the village of Tiwanaku, where Is the most important archaeological complex of the country. First, we will visit the local museum to have an introduction to the heritage of this millenary culture. Later, we will be visiting the archaeological site whose main attraction is the Puerta del Sol (sungate), one of the most important archaeological pieces of the continent. In addition, we will visit some ruins of great architectural and iconographic richness of this enigmatic pre-Inca culture as the Kalasasaya Temple, the Temple Underground Semi and the Pyramid of Akapana, plus Pumapunku that make this place one of the main sites of interest from Bolivia. We will have our lunch in the city of Tiahuanaco and later we will continue towards the Peruvian border.
After doing the paperwork, we will change the guide and car at the border, and continue our trip to the city of Puno; on the road, we visit the famous attraction Aramu Muru; finally we will arrive to Puno averaging 6pm (Peruvian Time)
