Full day tour to Sun Island from Puno

Experience the best of Lake Titicaca on this full-day tour from Puno to Copacabana and Isla del Sol. Your journey begins with an early pick-up from your hotel in Puno for a transfer to the terminal, where you will board a shared bus to Copacabana, Bolivia.

The scenic drive takes approximately 3.5 hours, including a stop at the Kasani border for migration procedures. Please ensure you have your valid passport or ID card ready. This is also a great opportunity to exchange currency to Bolivian Pesos (BOB) for your daily expenses.

Upon arrival in Copacabana, your expert guide will lead you to the Basilica of Our Lady of Copacabana, a 16th-century sanctuary and one of South America's most significant religious sites. After exploring the main square, you will enjoy a delicious included lunch.

At 1:30 PM, you will board a shared motorboat to the famous Isla del Sol (Sun Island). After a 30-minute boat ride, you will land at the southern sector, Yumani, to explore:

• The Inca Stairs (Escalinatas del Inca)

• The Three Fountains of Youth

• Ceremonial altars and panoramic viewpoints

• The Pilkokaina Temple

At 4:15 PM, we return by boat to Copacabana, and at 6:00 PM, you will take the return bus to Puno, arriving back at your hotel around 9:30 PM.

Description: This tour follows the same route as the previous one — Copacabana, Isla del Sol and back to Copacabana — with one difference: instead of returning to Puno, you'll continue by shared bus to La Paz.

The service ends at the Cemetery Terminal in La Paz or surroundings. Transfer to your hotel in La Paz is not included.
