    TOURISM PUNO: DEUSTUA ARCH.

    Located 3 blocks away from the Main Street (Lima Street) in Puno, is a monument built in honor of the Peruvians who fought in the Battle of Jun铆n and Ayacucho. Built in 1846 has two small squares on the sides. This monument has much historical value - moral.

    MUSEUMS IN PUNO: PINO PARK.

    Located in the center of the city of Puno, We find in the center a monument to Dr. Manuel Pino, hero of the war with Chile, it was built in 1901.

    LIMA STREET.

    Is the main street around Puno, in this street we can find all kinds of souvenirs, restaurants, hotels, exchange houses, banks, etc.

    MAIN SQUARE.

    It was built in the old Supay Wasi (House of the Devil). Until 1925, in the center could find a fountain made of bronze, which was changed with the monument to Coronel Francisco Bolognesi.

    CARLOS DREYER MUSEUM.

    It is the museum of the provincial municipality of Puno, which shows us a pass through pre-Inca times to colonial times. It has rooms of the Andean cultures like Pucara, Tiahuanaco, Inca. And we make a review of life in the Spanish colony. A great museum to visit.

    CATHEDRAL OF PUNO.

    Built in the 17th century and it has the rank of minor basilica. The facade was carved by Simon de Asto. Puno鈥檚 Cathedral was built on the Devil's Fence. Was completed on May 25, 1757 and is an example of Spanish Baroque style that includes Andean elements that give the monument a mixed character.

    You will see the market of Laykakota where you will find some articles used for inca's traditionals ceremonies called "PAGO A LA PACHAMAMA" or offering to the Pachamama

Realmente agradezco el habernos contactado con Incalake por los guias con que cuenta, y todo era de suponerse. El recorrido, el museo de Puno, la catedral, todo estuvo a la altura de las circunstancias La gente de ahí fue súper amable y gentil y los paisajes preciosos. Gracias!

El paisaje impresionante, muy bonito recorrido y la atención de primera. felicidades a los guias por el conocimiento sobre la historia de Puno aprendimos mucho de él asi que el recorrido se hizo muy entretenido, una de las cosas interesantes fue la visita al museo de Puno ubicado muy cerca a la Plaza de armas donde vimos casi toda la historia en solo lugar, gracias por este excelente paseo.
