Dive in Lake Titicaca immediately: explore the depths of Lake Titicaca in a fast, safe and fun experience.

Our Diving tour in Titicaca is designed so that you can dive immediately without the need for previous experience, We will pick you up from your hotel in Puno in the morning and take you to Chifrón, one of the most stunning natural beaches in Titicaca. There, you will meet your instructor, who will provide you with comprehensive safety instructions, including breathing techniques and underwater communication, ensuring that you can engage in the activity with utmost confidence and security.

Following the instructions, we will gradually descend, starting at 1 meter deep. As you become comfortable, we will explore depths of 3 to 5 meters, all under the watchful guidance of your instructor.

What are you going to learn?

In this experience, you will learn how to use diving equipment for the first time. Your instructor will explain the fundamental safety rules and educate you about the effects of being underwater on your body. You will dive in close proximity to your instructor, who will constantly check on your well-being. The session will begin with basic exercises before progressing to an underwater exploration.

What is the duration and hours?

The total duration of the immersion experience is 30 minutes, comprising 20 minutes of theory and practice, followed by a 10-minute diving session.

What is the depth to which I am going to dive?

We will go down according to how you feel, we will start at 1m50cm and we will go down progressively until we reach 5m.

Who is my instructor?

Colonel Oscar V, official PADI (international diving institution) instructor with 20 years of experience in sea, river and lake dives.

• 09:30 am Pick up and departure to Chifron Beach
• 11:00am Arrival to the Beach
• 11.30am Safety instructions: breathing and moving underwater
• 11:50 am: Immersion and exit to surface
• 12:30pm: End of the activity and return to the city of Puno
• 01:30 pm: Arrival at hotel in the city of Puno

Recommendations before diving:

-Avoid alcohol, drugs or heavy meals before the dive

-Minimum age of 12 years

-Wear swimwear before the dive ( t-shirt, shorts, sandals)

-Wear warm clothes after the dive (sweaters, jackets)

-Avoid trips with changes in altitude up to 12 hours after the dive (next day)

-Experience prohibited for pregnant women, people who have had heart or head surgery or have ear infections or have broken eardrums.

-Preferably knowing how to swim - It is not necessary*

Dive with your own equipment in Lake Titicaca, this tour is ideal for experienced divers. We dive for a duration of 20 minutes, with a maximum depth of approximately 6 meters.

Requirements:

• Only for individuals aged 18 and above.
• Previous diving experience is required.
• You must be in the city of Puno, or at a similar altitude, at least 24 hours prior.
• No flights are allowed until 24 hours after the dive.
