    We pick passengers up from 6am to 6.20am from downtown hotels in Puno, then, we will go to Chivay in a new, safe and confortable bus, making guided stops on the road that will allow you to enjoy more the views and places in this trip. The duration, is about 6 hours from Puno to Chivay (city where the Colca Canyon is located), you will arrive around midday to the main plaza of Chivay.

BUS CHIVAY PUNO

    Service is operated by 4m-express, sold by Inca Lake

    Passengers need to check in at 13:00 hours at the Hotel la Pascana, located in the corner of the Main Square of Chivay (Esquina del Arco Puente Inca con Siglo XX Nº 106). The bus departs at 13:15 hours.

    Our first stop will be at “Patapampa Viewpoint”, located at 4900 M.A.S.L, there is a majestic sight of our volcanoes (Misti, Chachani, Sabancaya and Ampato). Here, we can also find the “Apachetas” (hundreds of years ago, travelers used to build small towers of rock as an offering to the gods to ensure themselves a safe comeback).

    The next stop will be at the Restaurant “El Chino” located in “Patawasi”, at this place we offer our passengers a snack and our traditional “Mate de Coca”, we can also rest for some minutes and buy souvenirs. It’s a good idea to use the bathroom at the restaurant.

    Continuing our journey, if the weather is kind enough, an additional stop will be made to appreciate the panoramic view of the Andean plateau. Finally, our last stop will be at “Lagunillas”, groups of small lakes and Andean Flamingos wait for us at this point.

    We will arrive to Puno bus station, gate #2, approximately between 19:15 – 19:45 hours.

    This service is provided by Rutas del Sur bus cumpany. Tour includes pick up from the city of Puno to Chivay (Colca Canyon), visit different places on this route and once we arrive to Chivay we will leave it at your hotel.

    By afternoon, we go to the hot springs of La Calera, so we can relax and enjoy these medicinal healing waters with amazing landscapes, then transfer to your hotel at night.

    On the second day, we will transfer you at around 6:00 a.m. from your hotel in Chivay to the viewpoint of “Cruz del Condor” (colca canyon), where we can see the beauty of these birds in flight. In the return to Chivay, we will visit different villages and viewpoints. By midday - 1pm, will return from Chivay to Arequipa, where we finally drop off at your hotel, will be arriving approx. at 5pm in the city of Arequipa.
